Talim-ul-Islam High School cannot forget the charismatic personality of its headmaster Hazrat Syed Mahmoodullah Shah. His son Syed Mashhood Ahmad Shah (known as Shoodi in childhood) inherited the charisma of his great father. Mashood was one of the best debators that the college has ever produced. Majeed Tahir
May I congratulate and thank you and the T.I. College Old Students Association for the initiative you have taken, which was long overdue. I have seen the college website and appreciate your hardwork. Looking at it one goes back to the days, when we were all together. Luckily I have a collection of photos of my friends, class-mates and contemporaries, which I am herewith sending. I do not know how these gentlemen look like now, but I am sure they and their friends will recognise them from the faces, which were familiar then. I will keep in touch with you and the website.
Yours sincerely
Majeed Tahir,

I am also thankful to have teachers like Parwazi sahib and Dr. Sharif Khan sahib amongst others. I have seen very few teachers as dedicated as them .
Our college was like a mother to every one, regardless of ones religious belief. I live and practice Vet. Med in the USA and travel to Chiniot every year . I fondly drive by the college every year, but am heart broken at the sad demise of one of the most wonderful educational institutions of the subcontinent. It feels like my mother is dying and it calls me to help.I hope Govt. of Pakistan will soon do the right thing and return this great institution to its sincere and dedicated previous operators.

Assalam-o-Alaikam
I was at the T.I College from 1964 to 1966. I was a student from Chiniot and attended your English classes as part of pre-med F.SC. I am writing to you to express my deepest gratitude and love for the College. I belong to the 45% of the "non Ahmadi" students that this great institution kindly nurtured. I was given a special attention by Mirza Nasir Ahmad Sahib, as he was always kind enough to call me by my name and talk to me whie traveling between his office and home, while we waited in the "Zoology" corridor for classes to begin. The Ahmadi students were always amazed at this as they asked me as to how did I know Mian Sahib and why is he so kind to me ?? I told them that Mian Sahib has adopted me, ever since he interviewed me for admission and I feel him close to my heart.
Thanks for the web page.
God bless all of the Alumni, teachers and all others involved.

Please find attached two photos. The old photo was taken in Rabwah when I was a TI College student. I joined TI College in 1967 and left in 1971. I arrived in New Zealand in 1976 and came to Australia in 1979. I was the first TI College student to have lived in New Zealand and Australia. I completed my education in Australia and have been working for the Australain government for a long time.
Australia is a huge country and it is rather difficult to know every one. This website is a great link to bring old students together.
God bless you for your efforts.
